Most clinics and private practices still burn medical image data, such as CT or MRT images, onto CDs. When patients want to view the images at home, they often find that their computers don't have a CD drive anymore. Time has simply overtaken them.
As a rule, the doctors who continue to treat the patients have hardly any access to the image data on the CDs, because they either face the same problem or have to read in the data first, which is time-consuming and costly.
The Ingolstadt Hospital wants to address this problem. With the help of the mRay patient portal, patients will in future receive an access link with which they can call up the image data digitally and, if necessary, forward it conveniently to doctors who are continuing their treatment.
The additional module now also offers a modern and convenient service for patients and their referring physicians. The Ingolstadt Hospital has been using our app mRay across the entire campus for a long time. We would like to thank them for their trust and look forward to further cooperation.
