Latest pentest confirms high level of security (February 2026)
Security and data protection are top priorities for digital health applications—especially when sensitive medical data is involved. To meet this responsibility, we regularly subject mRay to independent security assessments.
The most recent penetration test in February 2026 once again confirms: No vulnerabilities were identified in mRay version 6.13. This result reinforces our commitment to reliable and robust IT security.
Independent Pentest by External Partner
The penetration test was conducted by our external security partner VORNAC , a specialized provider of IT security analysis and pentesting.
The assessment covered the following components:
- mRay App v6.13 (iOS, Android, Windows)
- mRay Backend v6.13
- mRay Web Application v6.13
What Is a Pentest?
A penetration test is a structured security assessment that simulates real-world attack scenarios. The goal is to identify, evaluate, and remediate potential vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.
In the medical environment in particular, this proactive approach is essential to ensure the secure handling of sensitive imaging and patient data.
Standards and Methodologies Applied
The test was based on established international standards and frameworks, including:
- BSI
- OSSTMM
- PTES
- ISSAF
- NIST SP 800-115
- OWASP (WSTG & MASTG)
- PCI DSS (Penetration Testing Guidance)
The following methods were used:
- Vulnerability analysis
- Criticality assessment and risk classification
- Analysis of technical mitigation measures
- Security maturity assessment
Result: Security Confirmed
The conclusion of the penetration test is clear: No security-relevant vulnerabilities were identified during the assessment.
