In collaboration with Diakonissen Krankenhaus Mannheim, our work on "Usability of touchless interaction with an image viewer in the operating room" was published earlier this year in the Journal of Applied Clinics Informatics.
A simple neural network is used to recognize different gestures of the operators to control mRay. The usability study demonstrates the intuitive use of gesture control. The simple integration into mRay created a human-computer interaction based on the simplest technology to digitize and accelerate processes in medicine.
