WHO WE ARE

Welcome to mbits imaging GmbH! We are an up-and-coming medical technology company and a classic spin-off from the German Cancer Research Center Heidelberg. We are all about medical radiology software - especially for smartphone and tablet.

WHAT WE DO

Our "mRay" app brings medical image data (such as X-rays or CT images) and other treatment data to mobile devices quickly, securely and easily. For example, physicians can access image data very quickly and from anywhere to make treatment decisions more quickly and in a more targeted manner. 

WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE

We want to lead the market for mobile solutions in healthcare, gladly around the world! Our corporate culture? Familiar and relaxed, with plenty of room for co-design. We are looking for motivated students who would like to carry out small projects as part of an internship semester or a permanent working student position. Independent work as well as experience and fun in marketing and sales are good prerequisites for your engagement at mbits.

You have the perspective in

  • As part of your final thesis, your practical semester or a permanent working student position, you have the opportunity to carry out small development projects

  • Independent work as well as experience and fun in software development are good prerequisites for your engagement at mbits.

Your equipment

  • Studies in computer science or a related field of study

  • Creativity, communication skills and ability to work independently

  • If applicable, previous experience in software development (version management, software processes, C++, Python, continuous integration, testing)

  • If applicable, experience in medical imaging, DICOM standard, mobile app development, and hospital information systems
