WHO WE ARE

Welcome to mbits imaging GmbH! We are an up-and-coming medical technology company and a classic spin-off from the German Cancer Research Center Heidelberg. We are all about medical radiology software - especially for smartphone and tablet.

WHAT WE DO

Our "mRay" app brings medical image data (such as X-rays or CT images) and other treatment data to mobile devices quickly, securely and easily. For example, physicians can access image data very quickly and from anywhere to make treatment decisions more quickly and in a more targeted manner. 

WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE

We want to lead the market for mobile solutions in healthcare, gladly around the world! Our corporate culture? Familiar and relaxed, with plenty of room for co-design. We are looking for motivated students who would like to carry out small projects as part of an internship semester or a permanent working student position. Independent work as well as experience and fun in marketing and sales are good prerequisites for your engagement at mbits.

What you can expect

  • You support research in the implementation of current methods from the field of artificial intelligence / image processing / digitization of medical workflows

  • Together with our clinical partners, you will research and test the application of the developed technologies

  • In exchange with our development team, interfaces for the integration of existing research will be implemented

  • Think out of the box: What does AI mean in medical research? How can physicians be supported by software?

Your equipment

  • Studies in the field of data science, computer science, medical technology or a related field of study

  • Experience in working with Python, common machine / deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow (optional)

  • Enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration in an agile work environment and an interest in medical issues
